GSD Opportunities for S.T.E.M. Related Learning
This year, a team of Gilford School District teachers have put forth a goal of expanding students' access to learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math both in the classroom setting and beyond. Below, please find a link to a web page that we have created to summarize many of the opportunities that have come out of this effort. 

Personalized Learning in the Gilford School District
One of the most ambitious elements of the GSD Long Range Plan is the challenge to our educators to advance opportunities for our students to experience a more personalized approach to learning. 2012/2013 school year, Gilford High School coordinated 20 internships for our students with local businesses.

2013/2014 school year, Gilford High School coordinated 32 internships for students. Some businesses that provided these opportunities were R.C. Bodyworks, Kennell Orthodontics, Stages Dances, Gilford Police Department, Barnstead Fire Department, Gilmanton Fire Department. 

2014/2015 school year, so far there are 20 internships set up.

HUOT Program
Gilford High School students have the opportunity to take advantage of the HUOT Program in Laconia. 

This program provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school at a discounted price.
